The editorial board at PRo Publications decided to end the publication of Global Slag Magazine in 2008.

Despite this decision, slag continues to be more than adequately covered as a regular feature section in Global Cement Magazine.

In addition, Global Slag's internet home page will continue to offer the the latest news and industry links, as well as providing downloadable articles from Global Slag Magazine's extensive archives.

Furthermore, the highly successful Global Slag Conference has continued to take place every year in order to discuss the latest innovations in this important area, as well as provide vital exhibition and networking opportunities.

We thank you for your loyal readership over the last few years of Global Slag, and look forward to meeting many of you at future Global Slag Conferences in the coming years.
