Judging criteria: Management strategy, employee relations, customer and supplier relations, environmental performance, safety record, manufacturing excellence, productivity, use of technology, market results.
2: Supplier of the year
Open to equipment, additive and service supplier companies worldwide
Judging criteria: Innovation, quality of product, value for money, timeliness, effectiveness of product
3: Wallboard plant of the year
Open to individual gypsum-wallboard plants worldwide
Judging criteria: Safety, productivity, innovation, quality consistency, environmental performance.
4: Global Gypsum product of the year
Open to gypsum-based and gypsum-enhancing products worldwide
Judging criteria: Innovation, quality of product, effectiveness of product, fit to market need
Awarded by the editor of Global Gypsum Magazine.
5: Global Gypsum personality of the year
Awarded by the editor of Global Gypsum Magazine.
How to enter
Nominations for the awards should be sent to the chairman of the judging panel, Dr Robert McCaffrey, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . (subject line 'Global Gypsum Awards'). All participants in the global gypsum industry may nominate. Delegates at the Global Gypsum Conference may make their nominations directly on the conference registration form. You can now make nominations for Global Gypsum Awards on-line.

Supporting literature (for example product specification sheets, annual reports, background information) should be sent to the following address:

The deadline for receipt of entries - including any supporting literature - is two weeks before the Global Gypsum Conference for each year's awards.
The judges reserve the right to include and consider companies, suppliers, products and plants that have not specifically nominated for the Global Gypsum Awards.
Judging panel
The judging panel is composed of the editorial board of Global Gypsum Magazine and Global Gypsum Conference, and the panel reserves the right to take advice from other parties in the industry.
